Refined like silver, called by God to serve - Working for the Kingdom of God.

 

The Sterling UMC was placed on the national Registry of Historical Places on October 18, 1989. A granite marker has been place by the steps to distinguish this event.

The front of Sterling church prior to 1949 - the existing arch at the front of the church was added when they installed the first gas furnace to conceal the ductwork!

Sterling church - Year 2020 - We love the country charm and the history of our church building! It reminds us of our past and gives us hope and a mission for the future.

…White was again a "station charge" until 1951, when the Sterling church became a part of this Charge.

The White church was completed and dedicated on June 5, 1983!

For a period of time beginning in 1985, worship services were recorded and taken to shut-ins. This ministry has continued to be e essential part of ministering to those in need throughout the years

In 1993, the Worship Committee sponsored the first "Hymn Sing and Create-a-Sundae, which became a favorite for many years!
